Photos

The Library of Congress Prints and Photographs Division has a large number of historic photographs in its collection. Some of them are from Sedalia and Pettis County. Unfortunately, dates are not available for many of these images. Even so, it is interesting to look at the collection.

Here's a sign I came across a while back at the baseball field behind the elementary school in New London, Missouri. Don't we all know at least one person that could stand to take a close look at this?

The Sedalia #200 School Board met Monday evening in the Dr. Harriet Wolfe Media Center, at Smith-Cotton High School. The meeting began with a ribbon cutting ceremony for the new additions to the high school, with a tour that followed.

The weather for the Tough Mudder event over the weekend was sunny and cool. Thousands of people turned out for the Tough Mudder.

The Piccadilly Gala Planning Committee hosted a ladies night out which included a silent and live auction benefit for Sedalia Area Chamber of Commerce.  It was held last night at the MEC building on the Missouri State Fairgrounds.
