Funeral Announcements for May 1, 2026

A celebration of life for Rochelle "Chelle" Lynn Simmons, 54, of Sedalia, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 1 at LifePointe Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Rea Funeral Chapel.

A Celebration of Life for Curtis Dale Miller, 73, of Sedalia, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 6 at Rea Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Inurnment will be held at Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville. Full military honors will be conducted by the United States Army and Sedalia VFW Post #2591.

Prayers of the Rosary for Marguerite “Peggy” McNamara Pabst, 98, of Sedalia, will begin at 9:45 a.m. Saturday, May 2 at St. Vincent de Paul Sacred Heart Chapel. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. A luncheon will be held at the parish hall after the burial. Arrangements are in the care of Heckart Funeral Home.

A celebration of life for Timothy M. Thomlinson, 66, of Sedalia,  will be held on Saturday, May 2 at 12 p.m. at Katy Park. Cremation arrangements are in the care of Rea Funeral Chapel.

A celebration of life for John Joseph Bozarth, Sr., 83, of Sedalia,  will be held at 4 p.m. Friday, May 1 at Rea Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the chapel.

Visitation for Patricia "Pat" Louise Weir, 88, of Sedalia, will be held from 11 a.m., to 1 p.m. Friday, May 1 at Rea Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at 1:30 p.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery.

No formal services will be held at this time for Jennifer "Jenny" Jo Whitesell, 59, of Sedalia.  The family will announce a celebration of life gathering at a later date. Cremation arrangements are in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.

A celebration of life for Betty S. Hart, 84, of Sedalia, will be held from 10 to 12 p.m. Saturday, May 9 at Rea Funeral Chapel.

A celebration of life for Barbara Kay Robinson, 75, of Sedalia, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, May 4 at First Christian Church. Arrangements are in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
