The next concert of the 2019 Missouri State Fair concert series has been announced.

Missouri State Fair Director Mark Wolfe announced that Chicks with Hits featuring Terri Clark, Pam Tillis and Suzy Boggus will perform on the Grandstand Stage on Tuesday, August 13.

With over five million albums sold and hit singles such as “Better Things To Do,” “Poor Poor Pitiful Me,” “Girls Lie Too,” and “I Just Wanna Be Mad,” Terri Clark has solidified her place in the history books of country music. Her latest album “Raising the Bar” was released in the Fall of 2018.

As a child of country music royalty, Pam Tillis, daughter of Mel Tillis, was determined at a young age to find her own way in music. With six No. 1 and 14 top ten singles, including “Shake the Sugar Tree,” “Mi Vida Loca,” “Don’t Tell Me What To Do,” and “Maybe It Was Memphis,” Tillis knows all about breaking the platinum barrier.

Suzy Bogguss sold four million records during the creative explosion that was country music in the 1990s. Her hits like “Outbound Plane,” “Someday Soon,” “Letting Go,” and “Drive South,” feature her fresh arrangements and her signature sparkling vocals.

Tickets for the show are $30.00 and $20.00 and will go on sale to the public beginning June 25.

Individuals can sign up as a Fair Fan on the Fair’s website, mostatefair.com, for information about concert ticket presales and other Fair news.

Other concerts already announced for this year's Fair, include Tyler Childers with Brent Cobb on Aug. 14. For King and Country with Matt Maher on Aug. 15. Along with Foreigner with Night Ranger on Aug. 16.

The 2019 Missouri State Fair will be held August 8-18 in Sedalia. The MO State Fair says additional acts, special events and promotions are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
