The Super Bowl Champs will put single game tickets for the 2020 season on sale to the general public at Noon this Friday, May 8 at www.chiefs.com. This according to an announcement on the Kansas City Chiefs website.

The Chiefs set the on sale date after the National Football League announced that they will release the NFL's 2020 season schedule on Thursday night. The Chiefs will be holding a special schedule release broadcast on their Facebook, YouTube and Twitter starting at 6:15PM CDT. At 6:30, Chiefs announcers Mitch Holthus and BJ Kissel will announce the 2020 schedule.

As for getting Chiefs single game tickets, here's some things from the Chief's ticket announcement that are worth being aware of:

  • Jackson County residents will get first crack at single game tickets Friday from 8:00AM CDT - 10:00AM CDT. This year the presale for Jackson County residents will only happen online. Ticket purchasers must use a credit card with a billing address in Jackson County to participate. (Living in Jackson County and paying taxes on the Trurman Sports Complex does have a few small perks, like this one.) The Arrowhead Stadium Box Office will not be open for this presale.
  • Season ticket holders are the next group that get a special presale crack at tickets. They can buy them at 11:00AM CDT. Season ticket holders will receive an email from the team on how to purchase these tickets.
  • Group tickets will also go on sale Friday at Noon.
  • All tickets are subject to availability and dynamic pricing. In other words, the good games will sell out first and cost more.
  • In the event that games are cancelled, or played without fans, the Kansas City Chiefs will refund the ticket purchaser the price of the tickets and all fees. In addition if parking has been paid for in advance, this money will also be refunded.
  • In an effort to get people into the sports complex without waiting at the toll gates, the Chiefs highly encourage people to buy parking passes when they get tickets. Parking bought in advance will cost $40.

Additionally the Chiefs note fans will be able to watch the NFL announce the entire leagues schedule at 7:00PM CDT on the NFL Network, the NFL app and NFL.com.

The Super Bowl Champion Kansas City Chiefs can be heard on Awesome 92.3.
