There have been a lot of events lately to put girls and their fathers together for some quality time. Daddy and Me Date Night, the Women's Service League Cupid's Ball, you get the idea. Now there's something that will be great for these girls to get together with the ladies of the family. The 15th Annual CHS Bloomin’ Tea Party to benefit the Children’s Therapy Center will take place Sunday, May 4 beginning at 2:00 p.m. at the Ewing Vocational Center. The party will feature a tour of the CHS Bloomin’ Gardens Greenhouse.

The event sounds like a huge amount of fun for girls and their mothers, cousins, aunts and grandmothers to get together for some lovely tea and crafts.  I got to talk with Susan Mergen of the Children's Therapy Center about the event and how you can get signed up.

Tickets are $15 per person and includes a photograph, a craft, a buffet filled with sweets and sandwiches, punch and tea.  Seats are limited and you must make a reservation.  Children will learn how plant flowers and will get to take one home! Call Susan at 826-4400, ext. 368 to make a reservation.

Tea-partily yours,
Behka
