Clayton “Rabbit” Andrew Young, 85

Clayton “Rabbit” Andrew Young, 85, of Sedalia, passed away, Friday, April 12, 2013 at Bothwell Regional Health Center, Sedalia. He was born on January 16, 1928, in Morgan County, a son of James and Minnie (Muenstermann) Young.

On April 22, 1948 in Sedalia he was united in marriage to Jean Cramer, who survives of the home.

He enjoyed working outside in the garden and flower beds. He served his country honorably in the US Army, Korean War.

Besides his wife, he is survived by one grandson, Jason Figge and his wife Ashton of Sedalia; two great granddaughters, Addison and Ava and one sister, Louise of California.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Terry Figge; three sisters and six brothers.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at Highland Sacred Gardens, Sedalia with Rev. Duane Duchesne officiating.

Pallbearers will be Jason Figge, Robby Paul, Josh Kettner and Brian Weisenburger.

Arrangements are under the direction of Rea Funeral Chapel.
