Convicted Murderer, Woman Arrested for Child Porn in Missouri

A convicted murderer and a woman have been arrested for possessing child pornography in Missouri.

The Scott County Sheriff's Department says deputies found an inappropriate picture of a girl in the 67-year-old man and 58-year-old woman's Benton home during a search Tuesday.

The victim told investigators that the man had taken the picture of her.

Officers also found ammunition, a shotgun and a spent shell casing on the property. KFVS-TV reports that the man was convicted of a 1988 murder, so he can't possess a firearm.

The man is being held on a $25,000 cash bond in Scott County Jail on charges of possessing child pornography and unlawful possession of a firearm.

The woman faces a charge of felony possession of child pornography. She was released from custody with a court summons.
