Could Be A Soggy Weekend

Seems like it's been awhile since we've had some heavy rainfall in our area. This weekend may give you a chance to experience it again.

Late Saturday afternoon a line of thunderstorms will form up over NE Kansas and NW Missouri, some could be strong to severe with damaging winds being the main threat initially. Heavy rainfall will these storms is likely with 1 to 2” per hour rates possible at times. Flash flooding will be possible as these storms progress to the east and multiple storms move over the same area. These high rain rates will last through Sunday morning over western Missouri and through the early afternoon in central Missouri. Please remember turn around don't drown! Water may rise quickly with these storms so use caution as it can be difficult to see flooded roads at night.
