The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services has completed its review of all medical marijuana facility applications.

The results of this review were released Friday. Applications designated as "Approved" have been offered a medical marijuana facility certification and have been given five days to confirm acceptance of that certification.

Notifications of approval have been sent to the email addresses of the individual who created the user account in the Medical Marijuana Registry Portal, the individual listed in the application as the Primary Contact, and at least one other individual identified in the application.

Applications designated as “Denied” have not been offered a certification. Denials are issued for several reasons, including failure to meet minimum qualification, the results of an analysis for substantial common control, the results of application scoring, or application withdrawal.

Notifications of application denial have been sent to the individual who created the application in the Medical Marijuana Registry Portal.

The two dispensaries approved for a license in Sedalia (4th Congressional District) are:

Missouri Health & Wellness, LLC, 1801 South Limit
Organic Remedies MO, Inc., 4407 Wisconsin Ave.

Other applicants in Sedalia, such as Holistic Missouri LLC 3400 W Broadway, Next Gen Natures Releaf, LLC 4801 South Limit, MM Jade LLC 5915 South Limit, were denied.

In Warrensburg, one applicant was approved: BMD Warrensburg LLC 219 W Young Ave., and two Tellus Health Centers, LLC 1125 N Simpson Drive, NovaCare III, Inc. 801 West Young Ave., were denied.

According to the DHSS, a new application fee for each proposed facility was $6,000. Facility licenses and certifications are valid for three years. There is an annual fee of $10,000, and a renewal fee of $3,000, it was noted.

No infused product manufacturing facilities were approved in Sedalia.
