Driver Injured after Vehicle Strikes Deer in Pettis Co.

A 59-year old man was injured Wednesday night after his vehicle struck a deer in the road.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the accident at 9:00, on MO-52 west of Meisner Road in Pettis County.

According to the online crash report, a 2017 Volkswagen was eastbound when it collided with a deer in the road.

The driver, Kaleem U. Syed, of Columbia, MO, suffered minor injuries in the wreck. Syed was taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center, by Cole Camp EMS, for treatment.
