Elizabeth Evalina Idabelle (Jones) Jaegers, 84, of Sedalia, passed away Wednesday, March 16th, 2016 at Sylvia Thompson Residence Center, Sedalia. She was born on April 9, 1931 in Plato, MO, the daughter of Floyd and Julie (Brewer) Jones.

She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church of Sedalia, a past Worthy Matron of Pettis Chapter, Order of Eastern Star, and past Worthy High Priestess of White Shrine. She was also a member of Rebekah Lodge and Sedalia Flower and Garden Club.

Elizabeth is survived by two children, Joyce Nadine Mathews (James) of Chamois, MO, and Jacques Andre Duchone of Sedalia; four grandchildren, Nina-Kay Cordelia (Matthews) Burton, Thomas Paul James Mathews, Bobby Lee Anderson, and Amanda Rochelle Duchone; and three great grandchildren.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Adam David Andrew Mathews; and seven siblings.

A memorial graveside service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at Crown Hill Cemetery in Sedalia, with Pastor Duane Duchesne officiating.

Memorial contributions are suggested to New Hope Baptist Church of Sedalia, in care of Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia.
