A benefit for Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City will be held at the No. 5 Bistro and Bar, 108 Pacific, Sedalia, from 6 to 10 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 4.
“Willow Rose's Country For the Kids” is a toy drive and benefit show that will feature musician Ryan Manuel, a former Sedalian now living in Lawrence, Kan.
The event is named for Willow Rose Manuel, who died in February 2019 at the age of 5 from Wilm's Cancer. She was a niece to Ryan Manuel. Amanda Manuel was Willow's mother. Amanda & Ryan are brother and sister.
A silent auction will be held at the event.
Cash donations will be accepted, as well as new and unwrapped toys. All cash donations will be used to purchase toys to be delivered to Children's Mercy Hospital.
