The Pettis County Pachyderm Club will host an open forum on Sedalia's Municipal Government with guest speakers this Friday, Sedalia 4th Ward City Councilman Steve Bloess and Pettis County Sheriff Major Tollie Rowe.
Before joining the City Council, Bloess was instrumental in gaining support for community-wide financing for the Heckart Community Center. Rowe served as a Sedalia 4th Ward City Council representative for eight years from 2012-2020 and currently serves on the city's Planning and Zoning Commission.
The club looks forward to having a great discussion about both the future and recent past of the City of Sedalia's governance and they hope you can join them at the Heckart Community Center's Community Room C this Friday at Noon.
