Citizens Against Spouse Abuse (CASA) will hold their annual 5K Color Run at the Missouri State Fairgrounds starting at 8 a.m. Saturday, June 21.

The event was postponed to June 21 from April 5 due to rain in the weather forecast.

Entry fee is $30 each, $15 for kids ages 8-13, and free for ages 2-7. Cost is $40 for a “virtual run.”

 

The event is part of Sexual Assault Awareness Month.

 

Earlier in the week, a proclamation is scheduled at the Municipal Building April 2 at 9 a.m., in the Council chambers.

A county proclamation is scheduled for April 3 10 a.m., at the Pettis County Courthouse, 415 South Ohio, in the Commissioners’ chambers.

 

And on March 29, CASA Artwork will be on display at the Home & Garden Show at the Mathewson Exhibition Center on the Fairgrounds from 9 to 4.

 

The State Fair Community College Lady Roadrunners softball team will play Jefferson College Saturday, April 5 in a double header as a fund-raising event for CASA with a Sexual Assault Awareness theme.

 

Games will be played at 1 and 3 p.m.
