Citizen’s Police Academy Starts September 22

The Sedalia Police Department will host the 2021 Citizen’s Police Academy beginning Sept. 22, at 5:30 p.m. at the Sedalia Police Department, 300 West 3rd.
This year’s coordinators are Commander David Woolery and Sgt. Bradley Beard. This will be an entirely new program with lots of classroom and hands on instruction.
Each session lasts 2 - 3 hours and is held once a week for seven weeks.
There is no cost to attend, and a catered meal will be provided for attendees each week.

The SPD has hosted a Citizen's Police Academy since 1994.
