The University of Missouri Extension will offer a Core Class for those working towards becoming a Certified Missouri Master Gardner on Wednesdays and Fridays at MU Extension Center of Pettis County, 1012-A Thompson Blvd., from 6 to 9 p.m. Sept. 29 to Oct. 29 in Sedalia.
Registration is $200, and the fee covers instruction, a manual and a name tag.
Topics to be discussed include vegetable gardening, soil management, trees, shrubs, flower gardening, fruits, pruning, pest identification, plant disease, turf grass, landscape design and more.
