An old-fashioned day in the park will be held Sept. 20 at Green Ridge Park from 9 to 9.
The event, sponsored by American Legion Post 491, will feature a 5K Run, old-fashioned games, vendor booths, food and music by the Cedar Creek Band.
The VA Mobile Unit will be at the Green Ridge Old Fashioned Park Day. They are with the VSO and will help with filing claims.
Bring your own lawn chair to the event.
