The next Pettis County Pachyderm meeting is at 12 p.m. Friday, Aug. 19 at Best Western, State Fair Motor Inn, 3120 South Limit Avenue in Sedalia.
Guest speaker is Emily Manley, chief of Nexstar's Missouri State Capitol Bureau in Jefferson City. Nexstar is reportedly the largest TV station company in the US, and owns WDAF (FOX-4) in Kansas City and KDOE in Joplin.
