Guildfest Coming September 10

The second annual Guildfest will be held Sept. 10 starting at 9 a.m., at First United Methodist Church, 916 Thompson Blvd.

The event, which is a fun quilt day, will feature two guest speakers, show-and-tell attendees, lunch, and door prizes.

Tickets are $20 each, and are available from any Sedville Crazy Quilt Guild member, or by calling (660) 596-4175.

The guest speakers are:

Kelly Ashton (kellyquilter.com) is a self-described “pragmatic quilt maker” and will bring lots of her quilt work with her to the Guildfest. Ashton lives in the Kansas City area ad is a dynamic speaker.

Becky Cougan is a prolific pattern creator who teams up with Renee Nanneman's Need'l Love to create many beautiful quilts from fabrics designed by Renee. Her patterns are very popular and very easy to use.

Participants are encouraged to network with like-minded Quilt Sisters. Come prepared to show-and-tell.
