SPARK (Sedalia Pettis Amateur Radio Klub) will host a “Hamfest” this Saturday, Oct. 16 from 8 a.m., to 1 p.m. at Our Savior Lutheran Church, 3700 W. Broadway.
Vendors from three states will be there. Over $1,000 worth of prizes will be given away, including three new ham radios.
It's the perfect place to buy, sell or trade for that piece of radio equipment that you've been looking for, according to organizers.
Anyone interested in learning how to become a licensed amateur radio operator is welcome to attend.
Admission is $5 each.
Breakfast and lunch will also be available.
