A fund-raising event for Marvin Dove will be held Saturday, July 18 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Green Ridge Community Center. Pies and ice cream will be served.
Marvin is battling back problems and needs help with medical expenses.
Participants may bring their lawn chairs and sit in Green Ridge Park, it was noted.
