Additional Information

The next Pettis County Pachyderm meeting is at 12 p.m. Friday, Sept. 8 at the Heckart Community Center, 1800 W. 3rd, in Community Room C.

A forum moderated by Kevin Lujin will take place with the subject: "What's the best way in 2023 to nurture community identity using taxpayer and civic club funds?" Panel participants are yet to be announced.

The forum stems from a recent decision by Sedalia City Council to spend $40,000 to place the City's logo on the side of a water tower. The other $40,000 will be raised by the Sedalia Lions Club.

Those attending also may purchase their lunch at the Heckart Community Center’s cafeteria or may feel free to bring their own meal.
