The second annual Mayfair Arts Festival is scheduled for Saturday, May 9 outside the Hayden Liberty Center in downtown Sedalia.
The event will take place from 10 a.m., to 5 p.m., and feature around 40 vendors.
Mayfair is a one-day, free art festival featuring a juried art fair, Artisanal crafts, live musical performances, food vendors, children's activities and more.
The kids will have a blast at the interactive kids zone featuring Mother’s Day card making, water balloon splatter painting, chalk mural making, 3D sculpture weaving, face painting, caricature drawings and more.
Street performers Professor Farquar and Polecat Annie and variety entertainer Jason D’Vaude will be there as well.
Jazz duo Mark and Sarah Atkins Lieberman and singer/songwriter Jake Reno will perform on The Lot’s outdoor stage with other performers to be announced.
There will be four cash prizes presented to the top artists that day in the following amounts: $500, $300, $200 and $100.
The Cooney Family Foundation is the presenting sponsor for the event.
