A free seminar titled “Money Management: What Every Woman Should Know," will take place at the Sedalia Senior Center.
Care Connection for Aging Services Sedalia Senior Center will present the seminar at 1:00 p.m. on January 18. The event will repeat the third Thursday of each month through June.
Care Connection says the 90-minute session is tailored to women and their spouses, adult children or potential caregivers. Participants will learn about income needs and sources, savings and investments, credit card debt, long-term care insurance and financial planning professionals. They will also be armed with the information to make a financial to-do list. Care Connection does not sell or recommend any products or services.
The session will take place at 312 S. Washington Ave in Sedalia. Participants are encouraged to come early for lunch, which is served beginning at 11:30 a.m.
Adults 60 and older may have lunch regardless of their ability to pay; however, a contribution is encouraged. All others may dine for the full cost of the meal.
