Pettis County Development Company to Host Community Involvement Session May 22

Pettis County Development Company, LLC will host a Community Involvement Session associated with the proposed municipal solid waste landfill, Presidio Environmental Repository.

The purpose of this Community Involvement Session is to present and discuss the findings of the Detailed Site Investigation (DSI) / geologic investigation completed for the proposed landfill disposal area and to solicit public comment. The purpose of the DSI was to determine whether the proposed site has suitable conditions for future solid waste disposal purposes with respect to the underlying geology.

The session will be from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Monday, May 22 in the third-floor conference room of US Bank, 3615 W. Broadway Blvd. in Sedalia. The proposed landfill disposal area is located north/northeast of Highway 50 and Buckley Road in Sections 7, 8, 17, and 18 of Township 46 north, Range 22 East, Pettis County, Missouri.
The public is invited to attend the Community Involvement Session to ask questions and discuss the Detailed Site Investigation with representatives of Pettis County Development Company, LLC and Blackstone Environmental.
