On Friday, May 15 at noon, the Pettis County Sheriff’s Office will host a Police Memorial Day ceremony on the front steps of the Pettis County Courthouse, 415 South Ohio.

Sedalia Police
This ceremony will honor the officers who gave their lives in service to our community and reflects Pettis County’s commitment to remembering their sacrifice with respect and gratitude, according to The County of Pettis. The public is invited to attend.
National Police Week is May 10-16.
May 15 is designated as Peace Officers Memorial Day, during which flags are flown at half-staff.
