Poplar Baptist Church To Sponsor ‘Honors’ at the Harbor’

Poplar Baptist Church is sponsoring “Honors at the Harbor” Celebrating God, community and local service men and women.
The event is scheduled for Saturday, July 6 at the amphitheatre at Drake Harbor in Warsaw starting at noon with free hamburgers for everyone.
At 1 p.m., there will be an honors ceremony, with presentation of the Colors by American Legion Post 217, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance by Benton County Sheriff Eric Knox, R-Warsaw.
Keynote speaker for the event will be Rep. Rodger Reedy, R-57th District.
Lindley Creek will provide patriotic music.
Military personnel, law enforcement and first responders will be recognized at the event.
And at 2 p.m., Lindley Creek will perform a free concert, featuring bluegrass and gospel music.
