Tour of Local Churches Offered in Sedalia

A tour of Sedalia's historic churches will be held Sunday, May 5 from 1 to 4 p.m.

Meg Liston, chair of the Sedalia Historic Preservation Commission, invited the public to take the tour and see any one of eight churches during the three-hour tour window.

Churches on the tour include:

Calvary Episcopal, 713 S. Ohio
Immanuel United Church of Christ, 418 W. 4th
Sacred Heart Catholic, 421 W. 3rd
Broadway Presbyterian, 209 W. Broadway
St. Paul's Lutheran, 301 E. Broadway
First Slavic Pentecostal, 520 S. Osage
Burns Chapel Free Will Baptist, 207 E. Pettis
Taylor Chapel UMC, 400 N. Lamine

The Sedalia Historic Preservation Commission is celebrating May as Preservation Month and is hosting the event.
