Four Warrensburg residents were injured over the weekend in a 2-vehicle accident.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the accident around 6:45 Saturday evening, on NW 361, just south of NW 565 in Johnson County.

According to the online crash report, a 2006 Buick Terraza and a 2003 Ford met at a hillcrest and were both reportedly in the center of the roadway. The Ford began to slide in an attempt to avoid the Buick. The driver's side of the Ford was then struck by the Buick. The Ford then traveled off the right side of the road and overturned. After the impact, the Buick then traveled off the road, as well.

The driver of the Buick, 40-year old Amy E. Vaughn, was taken to Western Missouri Medical Center for the treatment of minor injuries.

The driver of the Ford, 35-year old Amber D. Parker, suffered moderate injuries in the accident. Two passengers in the Ford, 14-year Cory W. Knight and 14-year old Terrell P. Mickey, suffered minor injuries. All three people were taken to Western Missouri Medical Center for treatment.

According to the report, the Ford was totaled in the accident, while the Buick sustained moderate damage.
