Free Kid’s Fishing Day April 28 at Warsaw
Get the kids ready for a day of fun under the sun at Lost Valley Fish Hatchery in Warsaw for the 17th annual Kid’s Fishing Day 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 28.
Here's an opportunity to introduce kids to fishing at Lost Valley Fish Hatchery. The event is sponsored by the Missouri Department of Conservation. (MDC)
The hatchery is located at 28232 Hatchery Way in Warsaw. Pre-registration begins at 9:00 a.m. The fun then begins at 10:00 when it's time to start fishing. The pond will be stacked with channel catfish and sunfish.
Not only will there be fishing for the kids but also other activities including drawings for fishing tackle, free lunch and conservation displays.
