Funeral Announcements for February 9, 2022

A celebration of life for Terry G. Couts, 65, of Sedalia, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 11 at Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the chapel. Burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery with full military honors conducted by the United States Army and Sedalia VFW Post #2591.

Funeral service for Marguerite "Margie" Mabel Gerken, 93, of Cole Camp, formerly of Sedalia, will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 9 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Cole Camp. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery. Arrangements are in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.

Funeral service for John Roy Hicks Jr., 73, of Sedalia, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 9 at Rea Funeral Chapel. Burial will be at Highland Sacred Gardens, Sedalia.

Funeral service for Donald Joe Chapin, 90, of Sedalia, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 10 at Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the chapel. Burial will be at Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Higginsville, with full military honors conducted by Whiteman Air Force Base Honors Team and Sedalia VFW Post #2591.

A Celebration of Life for Linda Sue Irvine, 73, of Sedalia, formerly of West Alton, will be held from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 11 at Rea Funeral Chapel.

Mass of Christian Burial for Mary Helen Staus, 84, of Smithton, will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 10 at the St. Patrick Chapel of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Prayers of the Rosary will begin at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 9 at McLaughlin Funeral Chapel with visitation to follow until 8 p.m.

Funeral service for David Hartley Viles, 83, of Cole Camp, will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 15 at Rea Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 14 at the funeral chapel. Burial will be at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Eugene, Mo.

Funeral service for Larry Lee Klug, 70, of Warsaw, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 12 at Heckart Funeral Home. Visitation will be 10 a.m. until service time. Masks are required and dress is casual. Lunch will be served in the Heckart Family Center immediately following the service. Private interment will take place at a later date.

The family of Kelly “Travis” Inman, 58, of Sedalia, will receive friends beginning at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 12 at United Pentecostal Church in Versailles with funeral services to be held at 2 p.m. Arrangements in care of Fox Funeral Home, Cole Camp.

Memorial services for Marilyn Marie Morhain, 74, of Sedalia, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 11, at Heckart Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 1:30 p.m. until service time Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.

A Celebration of his life for Kevin Randall LaPittus, age 51, of Warsaw, will be held by the family at a later date. Arrangements for his cremation are under the direction of the Reser Funeral Home, Warsaw.
