Funeral Announcements for July 17, 2020

A private family memorial service for Treva JoAn Monsees, 87, of Columbia, formerly of Sedalia, will be 11 a.m., Saturday, July 18 at Heckart Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Highland Sacred Gardens. The public is invited to visitation from 10 a.m. until service time.

A celebration of life for Wanda Sue McCutchen, 76, of Perry, Okla., formerly of Smithton will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 25 at Heckart Funeral Home. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery, Smithton.

Mass of Christian burial for Carolyn Ryan Fontaine, 88, of Jefferson City, formerly of St. Louis, will be at 1 p.m. Friday, July 17 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. The family will receive friends from 12 p.m. until service time at the church. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Arrangements are in care of McLaughlin Funeral Chapel.

Interment for Steven Richard Loftus of Dallas, Texas, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, July 17 at Crown Hill Cemetery in Sedalia. Arrangements are under the direction of Turrentine Jackson Morrow in Allen, Texas and Heckart Funeral Home.

A Celebration of Life for Adam Sean McGrady Harrison, 33, of Marshall, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, August 1 at Heckart Funeral Home.

Services for Larry Wayne Billingsley, 67, of Sedalia, will be held Saturday, July 18  at 2 p.m. at New Life Open Bible Church in Sedalia. Visitation will begin at 12 p.m. Arrangements by E. S. Eley & Sons Funeral Chapel, Inc.

A graveside service for Virena Catherine Woolridge, 94, of Sedalia, will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 21 at Salisbury City Cemetery in Salisbury. Visitation will be from 8:30 to 9:15 a.m. Tuesday, July 21 at Heckart Funeral Home in Sedalia.

A graveside service and burial for Alan Doyle Meyer, 64, of Hughesville will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, July 19 at High Point Cemetery, Hughesville. There will be no visitation. Arrangements are under the direction of Rea Funeral Chapel.

Funeral services for Elsie Ann Simmons, 84, of Otterville, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 21 at Heckart Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, July 20 at the funeral home. Burial will be in New Lebanon Cemetery.

A private family burial for Carol A. Barnes, 80, of Sedalia, will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery.  A public memorial service will be held at a future date.

There will be no formal service for Barbara Jean Collier Jonson, 99, Sedalia. Burial will take place at Memorial Park Cemetery with Heckart Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

A memorial service for Amber Scott, 73, of Sedalia, will be at 3 p.m. Friday, July 24 at First Christian Church in Sedalia. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Rea Funeral Chapel in Sedalia.

A graveside service for Tracey Lynn (Dotson-Wissman) Phillips, 53, of Springfield, formerly of Sedalia, who died Tuesday, July 14, will be at 2 p.m. Monday, July 20 at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from noon until 1:30 p.m. at Rea Funeral Chapel.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date for Claude Wayne Parish, Sedalia.
