Funeral Announcements for June 3, 2026

There will be no formal services held at this time for Jaedyn E. Meyer, 18, of Sedalia. The family will announce a celebration of life at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Rea Funeral Chapel.

A Celebration of Life for Penny Sue Edwards, 72, of Sedalia, will be held 1 to 4 pm, Saturday, June 20 at The Tiki House, 19003 Highway Y, Sedalia. Arrangements are in care of Heckart Funeral Home and Cremation Services.

Prayers of the Rosary for Gertrude Irene Hunt, 96, of Sedalia,  will be held at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 3 at St. Vincent de Paul Parish, St. Patrick's Chapel. Visitation will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 3 at St. Vincent de Paul Parish, St. Patrick's Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 3 at St. Vincent de Paul Parish, St. Patrick's Chapel. Burial will be at Highland Sacred Gardens.
