Funeral Announcements for June 7, 2024

Funeral service for Georgia Allene Reid, 88, of Houstonia, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 8 at Rea Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the chapel. Burial will be at Houstonia Cemetery.

Memorial service for Danny Wayne Williams, 71, of Green Ridge, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 6 at Parkview Christian Church. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until service time Thursday at the church. Arrangements are in the care of Heckart Funeral Home.

A Celebration of Life for Donna K. Harrison, 71, of Sedalia, will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Heckart Funeral Home.

Visitation for John Robert "Bob" Hughes, 77, of Sedalia, will be 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, June 8 at Heckart Funeral Home. Graveside service will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday, June 15 in Blackjack Cemetery, near Nashville, with full military honors. Memorial contributions may be given to a charity of donor's choice in care of Heckart Funeral Home.

A private graveside service for Mary E. McCarty, 92, of Sedalia, will be held by the family at a later date in Green Ridge Cemetery. Arrangements are in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.

A celebration of life for Sandra V. Blake, 81, of Sedalia, will be held from 10 to 12 p.m. Friday, June 7, at Rea Funeral Chapel.

Funeral service for David Lee Williams, 81, of Sedalia, will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 11 at the First United Methodist Church Celebration Center with military honors by the Patriot Guard Riders. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church A graveside committal will be held at 12 p.m. Thursday, June 13 at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery at Higginsville with full military honor presented by the United States Air Force, Sedalia VFW Post #2591, and Patriot Guard Riders. Arrangements are under the direction of Rea Funeral Chapel.

Arrangements for Melissa Elizabeth (Bacon) Tobin, 34, are under the direction of Heckart Funeral Home.

No services are planned at this time for Dennis William Sattler, 77, of Sedalia. Arrangements are under the direction of Heckart Funeral Home.

The family of Gary Don Balke, 65, Cole Camp, will receive friends beginning at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 9 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Cole Camp where a funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Burial will be in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery near Cole Camp with honors by the Sons of the American Legion Squadron 305. Arrangements by Fox Funeral Home.
