Funeral Announcements for May 11, 2020

A memorial service for Steven E. Sutherland, 72, of Knob Noster, will be held Sunday, June 7, with visitation to be held from 2 to 4 p.m. and a dinner from 4 to 6 p.m. at Heckart Funeral Home.

Plans for a Celebration of Life for David Wayne Goff, 43, of Knob Noster, will be held Monday, June 22, with visitation to be held from 3 to 5 p.m. and a dinner from 5 to 7 p.m. at Heckart Funeral Home in Sedalia.

A private Funeral Mass for Mary Anna Loftus formerly of Sedalia, was held Saturday, May 9 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Oakley, Kansas. Interment will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, May 11, at Crown Hill Cemetery in Sedalia. Arrangements are under the direction of Baalmann Mortuary in Oakley, Kansas and Heckart Funeral Home in Sedalia.

Graveside services for Barbara Jean Stevens, 86, of Sedalia, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday, May 11 at Memorial Park Cemetery.

A Celebration of Life for David E. Griffin, 62, of Sedalia, formerly of Otterville, will be held at a later date. Arrangements are in care of Heckart Funeral Home.

There are no services scheduled for Cynthia Gail Looney, 56, of Sedalia. Arrangements are in care of Heckart Funeral Home.

Graveside services for Rodger Louis Becker, of Sedalia, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 12 at Crown Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of Heckart Funeral Home.

A memorial service will be held at a later date for Michel Earl Thomas, 61, of Warsaw. Arrangements are under the direction of Rea Funeral Chapel.

Memorial services for Cory Stuart Acklin, 39, of Sedalia, will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 13 at Heckart Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at Crown Hill Cemetery.

Graveside services for Marlene J. Oehrke, 78, of Kansas City, formerly of Sedalia, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 14, at Highland Sacred Gardens. Arrangements are in the care of Heckart Funeral Home.

A funeral service for Rev. Corbett Ray Martin, Sr. 74, of Sedalia, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 14 at Bethlehem Baptist Church. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 13, at Rea Funeral Chapel. Burial will be at La Monte Cemetery.

A graveside service and burial for John L. Brandkamp, 77, of Sedalia, will be held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, May 14 at Crown Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. at Rea Funeral Chapel.
