Funeral Announcements for January 27, 2026

The family of Beverly Sue Simmons, 73, of Otterville, will receive friends from 12 to 1:15 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 28 at Heckart Funeral Home, where funeral services will begin at 1:30 p.m. Burial will follow in Olive Branch Cemetery near Syracuse.

The family of Janet Gant, 82, of Otterville, will receive friends beginning at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 31 at Heckart Funeral Home where a funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. Private burial will be in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville.

Funeral service for Dennis Lowell Barnes, 76, of Cole Camp,  will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 28 at St. John's Lutheran Church near Cole Camp. A prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 27 at Fox Funeral Home in Cole Camp, with visitation to follow. Burial will be in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery near Cole Camp.
