Gary Clyde Ramsey, 56

Gary Clyde Ramsey, 56, of Green Ridge, passed away Saturday, September 15, 2012, at his home.   He was born August 26, 1956, in De Soto, a son of General Sherman Ramsey and Verna (Sansoucie).

On February 14, 1998, in Cuba, MO, he married Theresa A. Aemisegger, who survives of the home.   Gary was a quiet, caring man who loved kids and was a friend to many. He enjoyed anything outdoors, including hunting and fishing. He was very talented and could do anything he set his hand to. He was a U.S. Army veteran.   In addition to his wife, survivors include his mother, Verna Thebeau, of De Soto, MO; a grandson, Dalton; siblings, Diane, Viola, Dean and Kevin; his mother-in-law, Pat Hayden; a brother-in-law, Mike Aemisegger; several nieces and nephews; his cats, Jaguar and Butterscotch; and his dog, Wolf.   He was preceded in death by his daughter, Amanda Ramsey; his father; his stepfather, Rousan Thebeau; and a brother, Wayne Ramsey.   There will be no services.   Arrangements are in the care of Heckart Funeral Home and Cremation Services.   Friends and family are encouraged to share stories and memories at www.heckartfuneralhome.com or on the funeral home's Facebook page.
