Green Ridge, Knob Noster Residents Injured in Wreck
Two Knob Noster residents and one Green Ridge resident were injured Tuesday night (Feb 12) in a Jackson County vehicle wreck.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the wreck at 7:20, on US-50 at Route F.
According to the online crash report, a 2013 Dodge Grand Caravan was traveling on US-50, while a 2015 GMC Yukon was in the median. The Dodge slowed and changed lanes into the path of the GMC.
The driver of the Dodge, 44-year old Virginia L. Barker, of Knob Noster, and two passengers, 13-year old Emma L. Barker, of Knob Noster, and 14-year old Tambre L. Phillips, of Green Ridge, all suffered minor injuries. All three were taken to a Lee's Summit hospital by EMS for treatment.
The driver of the GMC, 47-year old Jason S. Lake, of Lake Winnebago, MO, was reportedly uninjured.
All involved were wearing safety devices.
Both vehicles sustained extensive damage and towed from the scene.
