
Green Ridge Teen Injured in Accident on Route Y
A 17-year old Green Ridge resident was injured Friday evening in a one-vehicle wreck on Route Y.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the accident at 6:20 on Route Y, just east of Botts Road in Pettis County.
According to the online crash report, a 2007 Mercury swerved to miss a deer in the roadway and lost control. The vehicle then slid off the road and impacted a culvert, before coming to rest in a driveway.
The driver, Ephraim H. Leonard, suffered moderate injuries in the wreck. He was taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center for treatment.
The report indicates Leonard was wearing a safety device. The Mercury was totaled and towed.
