Here’s What You Need To Know About WHS Graduation
The 2020 graduates of Warrensburg High School will finally graduate this Saturday evening the University of Central Missouri Multi Purpose Building. The Commencement ceremony starts at 7:30PM CDT.
Here's some other things for graduates and their guests to be aware of:
- Face coverings will be required because of Johnson County Health Department's face covering order. It is expected graduates keep their face coverings school appropriate.
- Guests will need a ticket to attend graduation.
- Graduates will be admitted with their cap and gown. No ticket, ID, etc. is needed.
- Ticket distribution is Friday 7/24 at the high school from 11:00AM -1:00PM CDT or Sunday 7/25 at the UCM Multipurpose building 9:00AM -10:00AM CDT. Tickets will only be distributed to the graduate or his or her parents or guardian.
- Doors will open for graduation at 5:30PM CDT. Seating is first come first served. Some rows will be blocked off for physical distancing.
- Graduates need to arrive by 6:45PM CDT Saturday evening and will go upstairs for instructions and procedures for the ceremony.
- Additionally, the University of Central Missouri will be streaming the commencement exercises here.
