Hockey Coach in Missouri Accused of Trying to Exploit Child

A St. Louis-area hockey coach is jailed on $250,000 cash bond after being accused of trying to sexually exploit a minor.

St. Louis County prosecutors on Monday also charged 39-year-old Ian Mackie of Ballwin with one count of attempted possession of child pornography.

Authorities allege in court filings that Mackie requested from someone he believed to be a child younger than 14 years old pictures of that child's genitals, then complained when the images he received weren't viewable.

Online court records do not show whether Mackie has an attorney.
