Holden Woman Injured When Hyundai Hydroplanes

A Holden woman was injured in a one-vehicle accident that occurred Thursday morning in Johnson County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that an eastbound 2007 Hyundai Sonota, driven by 28-year-old Johnna DeWitt of Holden, was on US 50 at State Route W, at 9:45 a.m., when her vehicle hydroplaned on the wet roadway and traveled off the left side.

DeWitt suffered minor injuries and was transported by JCAD to Western Missouri Medical Center for treatment.

The Hyundai was totaled.

Johnson County Deputies assisted the Patrol at the scene.
