Homeless Clinton Woman Found Dead Inside Vehicle

On Friday morning at 7:30 a.m., Clinton Police Officers initiated a death investigation after responding to a call of an unresponsive person inside a vehicle, parked in front of the apartment building located at 403 Price Lane.

The deceased was identified as Clinton resident Faith Dockery, 31. It was discovered that Ms. Dockery had been homeless and was known recently to spend nights inside the vehicle.

An on-scene investigation was conducted by the CPD Investigations Unit and Henry County Coroner Dain Sisk.

The actual cause of death is still pending official autopsy results, but at the time of the release, several possibilities, including intentional foul play, have been eliminated, Clinton Police said.
