Over the course of the last few years reality shows have bombarded the television screens, and lately I have watched my fair share of them.  Two that catch my attention are Auction Hunters and Luggage Wars on Spike TV.  I figure in this day and age when people talk about the economy being in the dumps,  here are two shows that can take a simple thing of going to an auction and buying up items and then quickly selling them off for profit.  Auction Hunters has my biggest attention and features Ton & Allen going all the over the place just to bid on items, once they went to Alaska and bought parts for planes and turned a giant profit.  The show I just got done watching they made $10,000 in one auction.  If only we could all be so lucky to do that and then we'd all be enjoying the highlife,  think about it, if you did 10 of those auctions, you'd then make $100,000 if you were that lucky.  I'm always the guy who buys something for $10 and then have it years later and try and sell it and only get $2.      I also wonder are they making this money simply because they are on the tv.   Recently I went to an auction featuring some antique clocks and while I know there was some great buys, it makes me wonder who amongst those quickly sold their item for a giant profit.  If you have gone to an auction, can you tell us your story of making a profit or just having a great find to cherish?
