Independence Man Sentenced for Child Porn

A 53-year-old Independence man has been sentenced to 12 years in federal prison without parole for distributing child pornography. 

The United States Attorney's Office says Eric A. Jackson pleaded guilty in January to sending child pornography to a 16-year-old girl in Illinois.

Officers reportedly found over 1,000 images and 130 videos of child pornography while executing a search warrant at Jackson's residence.
