Independence Resident Killed in Friday Wreck

A 47-year old resident from Independence, MO was killed Friday afternoon in a rollover wreck in Cass County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the wreck at 4:15, on Route D just north of of 223rd Street.

According to the online crash report, A 1992 Chevrolet crossed the center line when the driver, Kristen M. Yeager, overcorrected and lost control. The Chevy then traveled across the northbound lane, continued off the road and overturned.

Yeager was killed in the crash. The body was taken to Frontier Forensics in Kansas City, KS.
