Interview With Phil Collen of Def Leppard [AUDIO]

I had a chance to talk to Phil Collen about Def Leppard's upcoming performance (Aug. 14) at the Missouri State Fair. Def Leppard is currently on tour with Styx and Tesla. He said that this tour has been the most fun he has had in a long time.

Phil also talked about the new Def Leppard album that is set to release this October. He said "It’s probably the most diverse thing we’ve done. I think it’s the best thing we’ve done since Hysteria, I really do." Phil will stay busy in October with the current tour, the new Def Leppard album, and his autobiography Adrenalized: Life, Def Leppard and Beyond is set to be released on October 27.

We also discussed the difference between touring now as opposed to the Hysteria World Tour and the new generation of fans that come to the shows. Phil also has a very cool side project that he has been working on, it's a blues band called Delta Deep.
