On Saturday afternoon, Officers were dispatched to the area of the 800 block of Crescent Drive for a male banging on doors and yelling.

Officers made contact with the subject, who was intoxicated and stated he was off his medications. The subject had minor injuries, some from breaking a glass pane and others of unknown origin.

Thomas B. Walje, 47, of Sedalia, was arrested for a protective custody hold, treated at the Bothwell Regional Health Center, and then booked at the Pettis County Jail.

That same afternoon, Sedalia Police responded to the 2300 block of East 10th Street for a male disturbing the peace of another. Officers arrived and found it was the same subject officers had contact with two prior times, and received six calls for service on.

The suspect was previously released from jail following a protective custody hold two hours before. Walje was arrested on charges of Peace Disturbance and Resisting Arrest.

Walje was transported back to the Pettis County Jail, where was placed on a 24-hour hold pending formal charges.
