Missouri’s Cheapest Breakfast Includes a St. Louis Classic

A new share by a national site claims to have located the cheapest breakfast in Missouri and it's the place that also is well-known for serving what many consider a St. Louis classic.

According to Cheapism, the cheapest place you can find breakfast in Missouri are the two locations of The Rooster in St. Louis. This place is famous for the "Slinger" which is a breakfast staple in the region.

Their website says they specialize in "crepes. pancakes. scrambles. slingers" and they're not wrong. My only question is about whether or not they truly serve the cheapest breakfast in the state as their menu shows many of their offerings are $9 and up. I have no doubt that it's likely worth it and that's likely inexpensive compared to other European-style breakfast places.
