If you haven't visited Kiener Plaza in St. Louis you are missing out on one of the largest winter festivals in Missouri.

This is the 7th year for the festival which has everything you could ever want to do as far as winter activities go. I saw this on Only In Your State and I had to make sure that all of you knew about this large winter fest.

There is ice skating (skating lessons), s'more stations throughout the plaza (just buy a s'more kit and find an empty station), book an igloo and hang out with friends and family, and just walk the plaza and do everything. It's described as a Christmas Party in Downtown St. Louis.

There are lots of eats at the festival to try out too so make sure you bring your appetite. There are sliders, gourmet foods, lots of drinking options, and kids-friendly food like chicken strips. But the best part of the festivals happens on New Year's Eve.

That's the end-of-festival celebration takes place from 4 pm - 8 pm and includes a fireworks show, characters, and even fire dancers. You still have plenty of time to head to St. Louis for a fun weekend to check out Winter Fest. It's open Fridays from 4 pm to 8 pm and Saturdays and Sundays from 12 pm to 8 pm.
